St Chad’s motto is, ‘Grow in Love; Live in Peace’. The school’s motto and ethos is lived our daily by the children and staff. St Chad’s is a nurturing, inclusive community where our children are at the heart of all that we do. Our dedicated staff work hard to ensure that children thrive during their time at school, they continue to grow spiritually and become successful, confident learners. Academic outcomes are important, they are consistently high and by the end of Key Stage 2, children perform significantly above local authority and national standards.

As a Catholic school, the Gospel Values of love, hope, humility, respect, gentleness, simplicity, justice, compassion and integrity underpin our work in school. We are proud that St Chad’s was recognised as an outstanding school in the denominational inspection which took place in December 2022. Inspectors noted that:
